Oh, they are biased, but not by political party. They are biased against any politician who wants to curtail gun rights. I've already outlined for you that they support Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike if they receive a good grade by the NRA's standards. Why bother responding at all if you choose to ignore the truth?

But I think that they lean Rep. a lot more than Dem. Have they ever endorsed a Dem for Pres? I dont think so, might be wrong. Their smear campaign against Obama proves a lot. The way they twist things to make it seem like he and other liberals want to rid everyone of all guns is ridiculous. Thats my gripe with them and politics. I can sit here and say that IMO everyone would still have their guns if the NRA didnt exist.
Having the NRA backing a candidate is kinda like having NASCAR as on your supporters.
It could be worse, the ACLU could support you.

Yes, the ACLU, NEA, and other liberal groups consistently back Democratic candidates.

Telling the truth is never smear.

When their ads are portraying him as someone who is going to take your rifle away, then yes it is smearing. Or naming a bill he signed, but not giving much details is smearing. Like if they say he signed a bill to do away with handguns, but the bill really was for banning a concealed handgun in a public building in a certain city. Now, that was just an example..I dont know if that was an actual bill they mentioned.
The very fact that he hasn't succeeded is testament to the effectiveness of the NRA's campaigns.

Now now now
You know that telling the truth about B. HUSSEIN is a smear and also racist.
